The full breakdown

Most state filings price themselves in pieces — one fee for the Articles, another for an expedited option, a third for a certificate of good standing, and an annual report on top. The list below is what actually hits your card (or the state's portal) when you form an Arizona LLC with us.

Year one

  • Form LLC service fee — $299 flat. Covers Articles of Organization, federal EIN, custom operating agreement, and one year of statutory agent service in Arizona.
  • Arizona state filing fee — $50. Paid directly to the Arizona Corporation Commission at time of filing. Non-refundable once submitted.
  • First-year total — $349. That's every dollar required to form an Arizona LLC with a stamped certificate, EIN, and a bank-ready operating agreement in hand.
Arizona note

Arizona requires publication of a Notice of LLC Formation in a newspaper of general circulation in the county of the known place of business, for three consecutive publications, within 60 days of approval. LLCs in Maricopa and Pima counties are exempt from the publication requirement. Arizona has no annual report or franchise tax.

What happens after year one

No Arizona annual report or state renewal fee. Once formed, there is no recurring Secretary of State filing. You still have federal and state tax obligations as applicable.

Arizona tax notes: No annual report or franchise tax required. $35 for expedited (non-same-day) processing. Filed with Arizona Corporation Commission, not Secretary of State.

Statutory agent service is $119/year after the included first year. It's optional — you can designate yourself, an employee, or a different commercial agent at any time by filing a change-of-agent form with the Arizona Corporation Commission.

What the $299 is not

The $299 is a flat service fee. It is not:

  • A legal fee. Form LLC is a document filing service, not a law firm. If you need legal advice on your operating agreement or liability exposure, talk to an Arizona attorney.
  • A tax fee. We prepare your EIN application and deliver the IRS confirmation, but we do not prepare tax returns.
  • A tiered price. There is no "basic" or "premium" — the same $299 gets every customer the same four things. No upsells at checkout.
